That prevented me (and I guess others too) from using their HOTAS properly without using external tools. WebKeybinds, and peripheral binds like for joysticks, are deeply customizable in Star Citizen, including options for different actions based on a single press or double press. You can have a key on your keyboard and a button on your joystick do the same thing as well, as those binds are tracked separately.
